# Matrix: Request for Funding The Matrix DAO is a decentralized autonomous organization that have come together to develop the Matrix Module on the Scintilla Network. Such module would provide a decentralized exchange and liquidity pricing system on the Scintilla Network. ## Proposal We request the network for helping in the funding of such effort. This proposal is for an initial budget request of 80k SCT. We expect to request additional budget on a monthly basis for the continued development of the LEX Module. We also would like to request an budget of 100k SCT for the initial liquidity pool of the LEX Module, those funds are not intended to be removed and any proceed will be used for the LEX DAO to ensure better liquidity on the LEX Module. ## About the Matrix Module The Scintilla:Matrix Module is a decentralized exchange and liquidity pricing system that will be developed on the Scintilla Network, it aims to provide all the necessary building blocks for the easy listing of tokens and the creation of liquidity pools.
